When it comes down to the nature of angels, many may be surprised to learn that angels are completely obedient to the Most High God in all things. Which upon learning one will understand that there is no war between heaven and hell and there is no conflict between the Most High God and the angels; need they be good or evil.

2 Peter 2:11 KJVS

Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.

We must first understand that angels being in celestial bodies rather than terrestrial ones, excel in their abilities across the board. This is not only limited to supernatural abilities but also in intellect. They understand their purpose and why they were created and what they must do. But man seems to find scriptures that they do not understand to validate bringing railing accusations against them. Like, “fallen angels”, “angels had sex with man and made the nephilum”, “angels rebelled” “the was a war in heaven.” So on and so forth. Making mention of things that are beyond the scope of the abilities of the angels God created.

2 Esdras 8:21 KJVA

Whose throne is inestimable; whose glory may not be comprehended; before whom the hosts of angels stand with trembling,

The Most High’s throne is inestimable. Meaning his capacity to rule, govern, lead and the mindset and power needed to do so is on a level of infinite possibilities. There is no bar to set it at. We cannot even begin to comprehend the magnitude of what truly The Most High God is. Even the angels understand this and they stand before the Most High God trembling. They have enough sense to gauge his power level on an infinite scale to have enough sense to know that it doesn’t matter their numbers, their strength their intellect there is no possible way for them to ever even dream about defying The Most High God.

Ezekiel 1:5-7 KJVS

Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man. [6] And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings. [7] And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass.

Let’s understand the makeup of some of these heavenly hosts. They have a likeness of a man, so they have a similar frame or makeup to a human male. They have four faces which lets us know they can change there identity appearance or look, they have multiple wings which would let us know that not only can they fly but they can fly fast. There feet being straight feet lets us know that the path or direction that they go down or follow, they do not deviate from, to the left or to the right. There feet like the sole of a calfs foot being firm or solid. They are dependable and will carry out orders without question. Again, noting there obedience to The Most High God. They sparkle, showing the aura they have or glow. And that glow is a brownish color similar to burnished brass.

Joshua 5:13-15 KJVS

And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? [14] And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant? [15] And the captain of the LORD'S host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

Here we see an angels coming in the “flesh” to help the children of Israel in battle. Notice the appearance was not alien but humanoid. In addition to the fact that, the gender was male, and he was not taking a side. He is neither for or against us, showing that they do not call the shots they simply do what they are told to do. They follow orders and instructions.

Psalm 103:20 KJV

Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

We too can learn from the heavenly hosts and admire the obedience they have to do the will of The Most High God.
