Revelation 6:10 KJV

And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

Have you ever felt like, “Ugh, when will this captivity be over!?!.” Trust me, we have all been there at some point in time or another. Let’s be honest, there is nothing fun about realizing you are suffering generational curses for disobeying The Most High God and his laws. And one day you will be freed… Given of course you are found worthy when he returns. And that is the caveat to it all; are you worthy yet?

Amos 5:18 KJV

Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.

Reality check people. Just because God is coming back to deliver us, doesn’t mean YOU will be delivered. With deliverance, first comes destruction. And you may not be on the list of those worthy to be saved. Your energy and mindset may be poorly placed. Instead of focusing on when will this be over? Or How long? One should devote that energy to asking themselves how can I be worthy to be saved? Keeping in mind, that we do not deserve salvation but God opened a door for us to earn salvation. But every door is not always as peachy on the other side.

Revelation 6:11 KJVS

And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

Newsflash people, some of you will suffer physical death as a mandatory ticket in. Ouch, but hey, at least you only have to die one more time right? But that is the upside. Of course given the scenario. I am not the kind of person who will raise there hand first for who is ready to get martyred for the kingdom. But in the same breath, I will probably be among the first to leap into imminent danger to save a loved one. As it isn’t death that bothers or scares me, it is being tortured in agonizing pain that doesn’t sit too well. But I have come to peace with the fact that, if it’s one last time for the kingdom of heaven's sake, so be it. I mean, if God pulls your number for it, you earned it or probably deserve it. I mean, can one really say that they were blameless there whole walk? And how many times should you have died by now for your sins? Not to dwell on the macabre, but he did warn that his return will not be pretty.

Amos 5:19-20 KJVS

As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him. [20] Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

His return will be like when one of your siblings messed up but the way your sibling was getting in trouble you wanted no parts so you just started doing random chores hoping none of the smoke came your way. Yeah, imagine that but ten times worse. But by that time, ain’t no make up work or let me go handle this now. Nope, now it is judgment time. All that other stuff should have been done. The fact that it was not is why he is there in the first place! And won’t be nothing you can do or say at that point to change his mind.

Revelation 22:11-12 KJVS

He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. [12] And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

I can repent last minute right? You keep thinking that. Don’t mistake an exception for the standard. Else you will be sadly mistaken. And eventually time runs out. There will come a point of no return. It is too late. So at that point in time God is letting it be known first, keep that same energy. If you were doing the right thing keep doing it, if you were doing the wrong thing keep doing it. Because at that point in time what you try to change will not change the ultimate outcome. Because now he is going to give you the reward for your actions up until this point. Need that reward be good or bad. Although we are accustomed to a reward being good, a reward is what you receive for what you did.

2 Peter 3:9 KJV

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

You see, God hasn’t forgotten us nor his promise. But in the excellence of his omnipotency he is very patient and chooses to give us grace and mercy, time and space to change our ways and get with his program before he comes handing out eternal judgements. How can you not love and respect a God like that?

2 Peter 3:10-11 KJVS

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. [11] Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

The Most High God is not playing. He intends to destroy this current world to begin anew. The elements shall melt. You know how much heat it takes to melt the elements? Come on now. A heat so strong that water, air and earth has no chance. Letting you know that there will be no place on earth you can go to survive. That’s one of the reasons why Esau is leading the way, along with some of the other nations, working hard to get off the planet. They are trying to escape judgement and find a new fresh start. But there is no escape. The only escape is repentance. You must allow fear to be channeled through you to compel you to change. And stay godly.

James 5:7 KJV

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

Be patient; be focused and faithful. Bear your hardships and pain with mental fortitude and calm without complaint. Knowing it will come. Just as a plant produces its fruit. All it takes is time.

James 5:8 KJVS

Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

You must reset your mind and spirit to regain focus. It won’t be long. God has not forgotten about us. Just hold on and keep fighting.

Sirach 2:14 KJVA

Woe unto you that have lost patience! and what will ye do when the Lord shall visit you?

Just don’t allow this world to overcome you and influence you to fall away. Lest when God comes you fall short of eternal glory and rather fall into eternal shame. Stay ready and you ain’t got to get ready.

James 5:11 KJV

Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
